The Celebrant Society - Celebrant Training Comments

"I cannot thank you enough. I have 17 years experience as a Funeral Director but lack the necessary experience in all aspects of public speaking. You have encouraged me and inspired me in everything that you have shown me. Your techniques have been fun and easy to follow. The presentation scripts that you have given me are excellent.

I will not hesitate to recommend you and your services to anyone wanting to train as a celebrant or needing help with public speaking and presentations.

Well done and thank you"
Funeral Director Buckinghamshire

"When I booked myself onto a personalised training course with Paul I had no idea what to expect.

Becoming involved as a Celebrant was something that had interested me for a while, and the personalised 'one to one' training that I received was totally extraordinary. There was a lot to cover during the course but every part of it was very relaxed and easy to follow. It included a fun and comprehensive overview of the industry with a visit to a crematorium.

The trainer seemed determined to introduce me to the crematorium staff as well as the funeral directors who were on site at the time. This made it a lot easier for me to approach them after the course, and get my first bookings. I was able to recover the course fees within the first three bookings and when I need help with my scripts, all I had to do was email my drafts to The celebrant Society for help or advise.

I found the course to be lively, effective and extremely interactive. It was also excellent value for money.

"I was dreading the thought of taking the eulogy for my sisters funeral in front of a very large audience. But this was something that I desperately wanted to do and honour her on behalf of my family.

I contacted The Celebrant Society for some tips on how to go about it.

Not only did they help me write an amazing script but they also taught me how to steady my nerves and deliver it professionally.

Thank you so much for getting me through a difficult moment and for everything else that you continually do to support my Baby Naming ceremonies."

"Just to say thank you for all of your input into the two day celebrant course i recently attended
I found the course extremely informative and interesting, and you put across all the structure of the course very well
I am now sure that this is the path i wish to take, so once again thank you."

"Sorry this has taken so long. Just a short testimony but can write more if you like. I think short but to the point is best. I hope all is well. I have suggested you to a retired headmaster friend I met in the garden centre the other day. I am giving out my card , I imagine it will take some time. I hope I don’t bloody forget it all . Andy is away filming at the moment. He is going skiing with The Husband so maybe I can get H to bend his ear about your project. No Jan L she is now in South Africa."
Lucy, Independent Celebrant

"I found the celebrant training to be as inspiring as it was informative. it was expertly tailored to provide the practical experience, information and support in a reassuringly informal way, which i really needed as I took my first steps towards practicing as a celebrant. I was warmly welcomed and by the end of the two days I most certainly felt more confident. Paul's professionalism, warmth and genuine passion for his work is also conveyed in the manual that consolidates the practical elements of the course and addresses many of the questions we have as fledgling celebrants.

Many thanks and very best wishes."
